Who is ready to be challenged?

There’s a new challenge on the crafty block and it’s called the Triplicate Trials Tuesday Challenge. Sounds interesting? Are you eager to know more? Well, I’m here to tell you that this new challenge is going to be A-W-E-S-O-M-E! This challenge has got it all as every challenge will be based on a three parts: theme, color and sketch. If that wasn’t awesome enough, this challenge will be held bi-weekly…every other Tuesday. This will give you ample opportunity to participate along with all those other lovely challenges out in the blogosphere.

As if this couldn’t get any better, you…yes, I’m talking to you…you have an opportunity to be on the design team. Triplicate Trials Tuesday is holding a DT call looking for crafty talent.  You want more details?  Head over to to http://www.triplicatetrials.blogspot.com/ to learn more.

Baby Onesie

My hubby requested that I make a card for one of his co-worker’s that just had a baby. I was more than happy to do it. I finally had an opportunity to use this card as inspiration. I fell in the love with everything about it. So, I pretty much recreated it with minor changes. I like using the onesies as the image is versatile so it can be used for a girl or boy. This was also an opportunity to play along with the SCS Ways to Use It Challenge (WT312) - to use spots.

Thinking of You in Gray

The SCS Way to Use it Challenge (WT311) is all about using gray as your neutral color instead of pulling out the old reliable colors like white, black or kraft. I was excited by this challenge because gray is a color I rarely use. So rare in fact that I had to raid my scrap pile to find some gray cardstock. Also, the elements of the card were inspired by the SCS Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS108) which is about the great outdoors.  While this card was simple to make, the overall effect is quite snazzy (I think). What do you think? Please do tell.

As always, thanks for visiting.
